Roof trusses
At Hus i Bergslagen, we specialize in producing high-quality roof trusses with a focus on strength, durability, and precision. Our production process seamlessly combines certified quality materials with advanced cutting and assembling technology. As a RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) certified company, we undergo annual unannounced inspections to ensure that our truss production consistently meets current industry standards.
Building process
Getting Started
The process begins with a request for a quote. To provide an accurate estimate, we require the following information:
Customer contact details
Architectural drawings of the house, garage, or extension requiring trusses
House location (to determine the snow load zone and calculate transport costs)
Design and Planning
Using the information provided, we create detailed roof truss designs using specialized software called Pamir. This software allows us to generate:
Material specifications: Types and quantities of wood, connection plates, and additional components like beams or posts if required
Production drawings: Detailed instructions on how to cut and assemble each part to ensure precision and efficiency
Automated Cutting
The Pamir software generates cut files, enabling our saw unit to make precise, automated cuts tailored to the design.
Assembly
The cut parts are transported to our truss assembly unit, where they are carefully assembled according to the detailed drawings.
Delivery and Installation Support
Our trusses are carefully packaged and delivered to your site, complete with detailed assembly instructions to streamline the construction process.
Truss Installation Process
The installation of roof trusses is a critical step in the construction process, requiring precision and expertise. Once the trusses are delivered to the site, they are carefully lifted into position using cranes or specialized lifting equipment. Each truss is aligned according to the structural plan and securely fastened to the supporting walls or beams. Temporary bracing is used to ensure stability during the installation process, followed by the permanent bracing system that locks the trusses in place. Proper coordination and adherence to safety standards are essential to guarantee a secure and efficient installation, providing a strong framework for your roof.
In our truss production process, we utilize certified software to calculate the design and functionality of each roof truss. This enables us to take full responsibility for each individual truss and the roof as a complete structural unit, ensuring it meets all requirements for tolerances, load capacity, and durability. For every unique project, we perform precise calculations and create detailed Pamir truss drawings, which form an integral part of our manufacturing and certification process.
